- Scholars conducting research and engaged in teaching activities that focus on issues of equity (race-based, migration-based, gender-based, etc.) face growing attacks during the current political times. Researchers are increasingly harassed, threatened, and in extreme cases, doxed. These attacks place scholars at risk, threaten academic freedom, and undermine scientific progress. They also come with significant costs to individuals’ physical and psychological health. This invited SRCD panel focuses on these attacks, scholar vulnerability, and collective action to protect scholars, their work, and their academic freedom. Panelists bring scholarly and legal expertise, faculty organizing experience, personal experience with attacks, and institutional knowledge.

- A Golden Tapestry: 20 Years of the SRCD Asian Caucus
- For two decades, the SRCD Asian Caucus has brought together scholars devoted to advancing developmental science and elevating Asian voices within the field. Like a tapestry, the Caucus is the work of many hands - each mentor, colleague, and emerging researcher contributing a distinct strand to a larger, richer whole. This anniversary celebration honors that collective achievement and the community it has created across generations.
- Join us for an evening of reflection and celebration as we recognize the Caucus's history, its impact on developmental scholarship, and the people who have carried it forward, as well as those who will continue to.
- As we mark this milestone, we look ahead to the threads still to be woven - and to the continued growth of a community rooted in scholarship, mentorship, and belonging.
